The Vestacare Stadium, home of Avro Football Club, is currently seeking a talented and dedicated Cook/Chef to join our Food and Beverages Team. This is an excellent opportunity someone looking to bring their skills to a dynamic sporting environment.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cook/Chef to prepare delicious food for our match days, special events, and various functions held at our venue. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality food that enhances the overall experience for our visitors and supporters.
The position requires weekend availability, with regular shifts on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the football season. Additionally, occasional shifts on Wednesdays and Fridays will be required depending on our match and event schedule.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have previous experience in the hospitality industry, specifically within a kitchen or café setting. You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team, maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation even during busy periods.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating enjoyable dining experiences are essential qualities for this position. Food hygiene certification would be advantageous.
